• EVERYONE DESERVES A GOOD HOME •

Who can say that the world belongs to just a few?
Who can say that some piece of land is “ours,” or
that some country “belongs”  to just one people?

Our earth was here long before any nation or people existed.
Who “owned” it then?
Most important, there is more than enough land on earth now
 for all the world’s people.

All people must have the right to food.

From the least to the greatest, all creatures must have the right to clean water.

No one should be made to live without beauty.

What other rights do all humans have?

What will it take to learn to live together?

These are the things we will explore this year together.  You will have the great honor of trying to design a new country for all the world’s refugees. Nothing will be easy about this class — but it will be very exciting.  Why?   Because what you will be trying to do is possible.

Now, please leave your first comment below as a way to start to get to know the others in your class.

  5. Everyone, we have a new member of the class! Aida from Afghanistan will be joining us. She tried to leave a comment, but for some reason it did not come through. She wrote: "I'm really excited to join this class because I like to share my ideas and I like to learn about different cultures."
